Every year the FCE Committee organizes an excursion to a foreign country in the second break week in April. During this excursion, we visit several companies, research institutes, and universities. The goal of the FCE is to broaden your view of career possibilities. Examples of FCE destinations are Oman, Norway, Iran, Romania, Switzerland, and Sweden (cancelled due to Covid-19).
Around 20 students participate during this super fun week. It is a week that is not only fun but also highly educational and useful. As a committee, you carry the full responsibility of putting the trip together. You will pick the country, how to travel, maintain contact with the companies, research institutes and universities. It is a great opportunity to get experience in organizing a big activity and of course, you will have lots of fun with all the other committee members.
