On Tuesday the 18th of December, the U.A.V. will host this year’s first symposium. This symposium will be about Remote Sensing and Earth Observation.

Five lecturers from several universities and companies will speak about the different remote sensing technologies, techniques and methods, examples of applicational research and the social relevance of Earth observation. People who are new to the field of remote sensing can gain knowledge and experts can gain new insights into the several applications of remote sensing disciplines. The chairman for the day is Steven de Jong from Utrecht University.

Following the symposium, there will be social drinks, where people can network and get in touch with the lecturers, students and researchers from several different universities and companies. This is a great way to deepen your knowledge about your interests/expertise in the field of Earth observation.
