The energy transition: technology, urgency and getting things done in the Netherlands

Dear members,

Thursday, the 3rd of March, Gert Jan Kramer will discuss a very relevant subject on the energy transition. “In this lecture I will give my perspective on the technical options for making the energy system sustainable. Wind, solar and ‘green hydrogen’ are the major themes, but I will also discuss nuclear energy, geothermal and carbon capture and storage. I will give special attention to deployment timelines: how fast can this transition take shape? Are there limits? Or is it just our willingness to act that sets the pace. I will use case of the Netherlands to illustrate this.”

The lecture will take place on campus in Pangea, KBG. You can sign up via the U.A.V.-website.

Kind regards,
