Committees

The Sportactivities Committee of the U.A.V. organizes 3 activities and an activity weekend every year.

Each year, the Batavierenrace committee ensures that two U.A.V. teams participate in the Batavierenrace.

The Editorial Committee of the U.A.V. magazine provides the magazine for the U.A.V. This fantastic magazine, the PanGeo, is published about four times a year and is distributed among members, alumni and donors (in Dutch).

The First Years Organization is a committee consisting entirely of first year bachelors and organizes, among other things, the famous dEO party and a first year bachelor weekend.

The Third-Year Committee consists entirely of third-year bachelor students and organizes, among other things, the stay-at-home barbecue and the third-year bachelor weekend.

The DJ committee plays music at most parties of the U.A.V.

The Gildemeesters organize a number of drinks per year and, together with the Commissioner of internal affairs, ensure that the parties of the U.A.V. run completely smoothly.

The Charity Committee organizes a number of activities for a good cause where members of the U.A.V. participate in order to contribute to society.

The Introduction Committee is the committee of the U.A.V. who organizes the bachelor introduction for the new Earth Sciences students.

The Christmas Committee organizes a major activity every year at Christmas, such as a Christmas dinner or Christmas gala.

The Lustrumalmanak committee collects and writes pieces throughout the year to produce a beautiful yearbook of the U.A.V. at the end of a lustrumyear (once every five years).

The Lustrum Committee organizes fun activities throughout the year to celebrate the lustrum of the U.A.V. (Once every five years).

The Master's Committee organizes the Master's introduction for new Master's students and organizes a number of Master activities throughout the year.

Each year, the Education Committee organizes a number of education-related activities, such as drinks where lecturers discuss points for improvement of the program or education-related courses.

The members of the tappers guild ensure that the glasses are well filled at every U.A.V. party.

Each year, the FCE committee (Foreign Career Excursion) organizes an excursion abroad to get acquainted with career opportunities within Earth Sciences.

The Ouwelullen Committee organizes the Ouwelullen Pub Crawl and strives to organize a trip to Lloret de Mar every year.

The Second Year Committee consists entirely of second year bachelors and organizes a number of activities every year, including the legendary Barbaracantus.

U.A.Fragma ensures that many photos and videos are made of the activities of the U.A.V. and that beautiful posters and aftermovies are made from this material.

Every year around Easter, the APEx Committee organizes a long weekend away full of fantastic activities.

De Galacommissie organiseert het U.A.V. Gala! Het Gala vindt plaats in december.

The Dies Committee organizes a week with all kinds of activities to celebrate that the association is getting a year older, such as drinks, activities, a party and a reception.
