Staat er binnenkort een verslag, project of scriptie op je planning en zie je nu al op tegen de opmaak? Loop je telkens vast met verschuivende figuren, onhandige referenties of wiskundige formules die nooit doen wat jij wilt? Dan is LaTeX misschien precies wat je nodig hebt. En denk je nu LaTex, wat is dat, dan is hier een kleine uitleg.
LaTex is een softwaresysteem voor het in elkaar zetten van documenten, een soort Word, maar met veel handige mogelijkheden voor het netjes en automatisch opmaken van teksten, figuren, tabellen en formules. Geen gedoe meer met verspringende afbeeldingen of handmatig bijhouden van koppen en literatuurverwijzingen: LaTeX regelt dit voor je. Handig voor nu, maar ook zeker voor later tijdens je studie.
De cursus vindt plaats op dinsdag 24 februari van 13:15 tot 14:30 in BBG 179. Wij zullen zorgen voor koffie, thee en wat lekkers!

LaTeX is a software system for creating documents, similar to Word, but with many useful features for neatly and automatically formatting text, figures, tables, and formulas. No more hassle with images jumping around or manually keeping track of headings and references—LaTeX takes care of it for you. Useful now, and definitely later on during your studies.

The course will take place on Tuesday, February 24 from 13:15 to 14:30 in BBG 179. We will provide coffee, tea, and some snacks!
